Note on Hours
Written Tests are issued from 8:00AM - 3:00PM only. Vehicle Registration for Out of State Transfers and Salvage Vehicles 8:00AM - 3:00PM only. Please make an appointment. Same day appointments are being offered at the Kona Vehicle Registration & Licensing office. We are accepting walk ins for driver's licenses that are expired or will be expiring within 30 days at our Hilo office. We apologize for any inconvenience.
