According to Section 13-18, Hawai‘i County Charter, claims for recovery of damages for any injury to persons or property by reason of negligence or other act of any official or employee of the county shall not be considered unless a written statement, stating the date, location and description of the how the injuries occurred, and the tentative amount claimed is filed with the Office of the County Clerk, within two years after the date of the injury.

Lobbyist Registration Form
This document provides instructions on lobbyist registration requirements as well as the form which must be filled out and filed with the Clerk in order to become an official lobbyist.
A lobbyist is any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spends a certain amount of time or expense in a six-month period in attempting to influence legislative or administrative officials. To view the law regarding lobbyist registration, please see Chapter 2, Article 15, Section 2-91.3 of the Hawai‘i County Code.
