Her "Second Chance Prom Night" for adults was actually out of this world this was for community people who missed their Prom a great success. Nona got a Ka'u Chef to provide the menu's,  prime rib,  roasted chicken, mash potatoes, steam vegetables and desserts all homemade, this was a smash hit and the talk of the town.
During the Pandemic Nona delivery food ( grocery) to Ka'u people who were home bound because they had covid and she also helped with the island wide Food Distribution (Food Bank) in her District.  I could go on and on it has happened for over 35 years!" - GK

"I would like to nominate Toni Nakatani for all of her hard work, support, and commitment to the County of Hawaiʻi for 30+ years.
